Solway Heritage is conveniently situated in the centre of Dumfries
near the Robert Burns statue at the start of the pedestrianised area. The offices are located about 50 yards along Church
Crescent, round the corner from Greyfriars Church, directly above Andersons Kilt Shop (red door to the right of the shop).
Church Crescent immediately follows Academy Street or Buccleuch Street, depending on which road
you approach the town centre from.
The nearest parking is off Loreburn Street (2 hours short-stay car park)
or George Street (long and short-stay car parks). There are also long and short stay car parks on the Whitesands.
On street parking is available on Castle Street and George Street, ranging
from 30 mins to 2.5 hours.
For most parking in Dumfries Town Centre you will require a disc - available
from some shops and Council Offices in the Town Centre.
There is a large car park at Brooms Road, most of which you can park in
all day without a disc.
