Solway Heritage is seeking to employ an enthusiastic Project Officer to continue the delivery of the Eco-Schools with Energy project, funded by E.ON, one of the UK’s leading power and gas companies, and the Dumfries and Galloway LEADER Programme.  A proven knowledge of the Eco-Schools programme and the Curriculum for Excellence is essential.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of working with school children and teachers is also essential.  This post is based in Dumfries, on a temporary contract until 31st March 2011, with the possibility of an extension dependent on future funding.  The post will be subject to vetting under Disclosure Scotland.
